Getting Afloat. An introduction to the sport, covering the knowledge required to get afloat under supervision. The RYA Level 1 course will give you a basic understanding of boat handling techniques

Become a competent sailor in light winds, improving sailing techniques and manoeuvres, rigging, launching, safety, capsize recovery and basic rules of the road with this Level 2 course.

Take both the RYA Levels 1 & 2 in 5 days and really get to grips with sailing. You will be ready to hire a boat in light to medium winds by the end of the 5 days

This intermediate course bridges the gap between the first 2 levels and then the 5 further advanced levels. Level 3 helps to develop your technique and have a taster of what the advanced levels have to offer.

Ladies only beginner sailing course, 4 x half day sessions spread over 4 weeks.  Come and learn a Ladies Level 1 course and have fun!

Ladies Level 2 sailing course, 4 x half day sessions spread over 4 weeks.  Becoming a competent sailor in light winds, improving sailing techniques and manoeuvres, rigging, launching, safety and basic rules of the road.

Ladies Level 3 Sailing Course – 4 x half day sessions spread over 4 weeks. Further coaching to create a more efficient sailor, consolidating skills from Levels 1 & 2, also working on aspects from the more advanced courses.

Ladies only sailing course.  Seamanship Skills shows how to handle a boat in all circumstances and solve problems afloat. This will teach you to sail in a seamanship like manner and make the right decisions in moderate conditions.

Ladies racing sailing course, 4 x half day sessions spread over 4 weeks.  The starting point for enjoying club racing.  All you need to know to get round the course and have the confidence, skills and knowledge to take part in club racing in good conditions.
