Do you already own or are thinking of buying a boat? Powerboat Level 2 or tailor made own boat tuition available on your own boat.

Own boat tuition is done on demand and you will not see any dates on our booking calendar. You need to get in touch to check availability and we can then add your training dates to our calendar.

If you have a boat that is under 10 metres (30 feet) then we can help you with training.

This can be the 2 day RYA Powerboat Level 2 course or some specific tailormade tuition, it does not have to be an RYA course.

We often get asked for training with close quarter manoeuvres in and out of marinas and berthing etc. We will just need an own boat tuition declaration to be checked and signed. This is also a good check list to ensure you have the correct safety equipment on board. Most of these items can be provided for your training.

Our knowledgeable and patient instructors will teach you in our beautiful waters from Mylor Yacht Harbour, near Falmouth, Cornwall.

When do you run these courses?

We can run this course at a time to suit you. Most of our courses are done on demand. We are open 7 days a week and all year round. Please get in touch to check availability and to book in. All clothing and equipment provided. This can be booked on a 1:1 basis or we can get you to join a group if preferred.

How many people in a group?

Normally for Powerboat Courses the maximum in a group would be 3 people plus the instructor. 1:1 tuition is available.

I do not have any experience at all, can we do the training where my boat is moored?

Yes absolutely. This is generally the best for your training as this is the area you will be using the most. Depending on the location and the category of waters we are insured to carry out own boat tuition in a varitey of locations. Please get in touch to discuss if you are unsure.

I have a physical impairment/health condition can I take this course?

Yes of course you can. We have trained instructors to help with a wide variety of specific needs. Get in touch to discuss.

I am really rusty and not been on a powerboat for a few years, can you help?

Yes absolutely. We can tailormake any tuition to suit you and your place of berthing. Just get in touch if you want to discuss anything.
