Objectives

To make boating an activity that is genuinely open to anyone who wishes to take part. To provide the framework for everyone to enjoy the sport, in whatever capacity and to whatever level the individual desires.

Policy Statement
Mylor Sailing School is committed to the principle of equality of opportunity and aims to ensure that all present and potential participants, instructors, volunteers and employees are treated fairly and on an equal basis, irrespective of sex, age, disability, race, religion or belief, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, marriage and civil partnership, gender reassignment or social status.

Implementation
Our commitment:
• Every participant, instructor, volunteer and employee is entitled to an environment which promotes dignity and respect to all. No form of intimidation bullying or harassment will be tolerated;
• The commitment to diversity and equality in the workplace is good management practice and makes sound business sense;
• Breaches of our diversity and equality policy will be regarded as misconduct and could lead to disciplinary proceedings;
• The policy will be monitored and reviewed annually;

• Employment Equality (Age) Regulations 2006
