Pay with Klana at the checkout and spread the payments for an interest free option – please get in touch if you have any questions
Normally done over 5 x half days but can be done in 2 full days. This course goes from ages 8 – 15 years. For ages 8 – 10 though we would normally recommend the 5 x half days due to attention span and tiredness. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you cannot see your desired dates on the electronic calendar, as we also do courses on demand.
RYA Youth Stage 4 covers many of the same skills in Stage 3 but in a double handed boat. E.g. RS Feva. Children will develop their skills on how to solve a variety of potential problems afloat. Launch and return to a beach, jetty or mooring, and sail a crewed dinghy around a triangle in moderate conditions. Sailors will work on communication between the helm and the crew. Skills will develop and should be more autonomous using the RYA’s 5 essentials by the end of this course. We have perfect waters for dinghy sailing in our beautiful Fal Estuary, Cornwall.
