Cornwall Tourism Awards 2024

We are feeling honoured to be featured with such amazing Cornish Businesses at the Cornwall Tourism Awards this week. It was a truly special night at Truro Cathedral where a vast range of tourism businesses across Cornwall were recognised for their outstanding work.

We were delighted to win 2 Golds at the event in two categories, Access & Inclusivity, and Learning Experience of the Year. These categories had tough competition and so we were stunned to be awarded gold in both! As a business, access, and inclusivity hold a great deal of importance in our work so to be recognised with such a prize really is an honour. Being featured in the learning experience category is a wonderful reminder and thank you of the brilliant work our fantastic team do at Mylor Sailing School.

Just whilst we were celebrating these amazing gold awards and letting it sink in our name was mentioned again as we also took another very special award for the Outstanding Contribution to Cornwall Tourism. What a true celebration of the work we do and a true surprise to be recognised in this way for contributing to our beautiful county!

Tracey – CEO of Mylor Sailing School said “To say we are blown away is an understatement.  Does this mean I have to retire now?  Thank you to the Awards team for such a wonderful evening as usual.”
